Mark E. Freitas Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Police Foundation

Palm Beach, FL, December 20, 2012 – The Mark and Mary Freitas Foundation, a not for profit foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need, today announced that its co-founder, Mark E. Freitas was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Police Foundation.

The Palm Beach Police Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the Town of Palm Beach Police Department and its employees through the acceptance, management and disbursement of tax-deductible gifts and contributions. The Board of Directors consists of town residents, civic leaders, and members of the business community. In addition to police support programs, the Foundation provides funding to various community, residential and business crime watch programs, such as Palm Beach Crime Watch, the 30 year-old non-profit organization that promotes citizen participation in crime prevention.
